of my favorites is this song.
LOVE the slides in this video all the way down to the common southern truck
stop. Familiar territory. Home.
Asheville,NC; Knoxville/Gatlinburg, TN; Cherokee; Blue Ridge Parkway;
northern GA; Upstate, SC. It is by far my favorite place in the world.
The storm tonight inspired me to learn to play this song on the piano
tonight. I’ve always loved it, but it makes me homesick. I’ll have to make
a video of me playing it soon.

living a fools paradise… Please don’t wake me up, even though all this
time i’ve been singing it wrong! Reminds me of this girl i met upstate NY
once… I think her name was clarice. What a hottie with that knee high
dress! Gotta call my buddy and tell him to give me a lift in his 1.6 liter
chevette… Wonder if he can make those big wheels burn? Castkill Mountain

True life story…I lived this life. I seen through the back window, as I
waited in the car, in the rain, there was the reunification of my Mother &
Father. My dad was a truck driver; we lived in the mountains. One of the
saddest dam% things I have ever seen. I was a child…4 or 5 or so.
It’s a beautiful rainy day here in the Smoky Mountains. Got us thinking
