Clingmans Dome Obsevation Tower, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park

A 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot up to the observation tower on Clingmans Dome in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The dead trees in the video are the result of an invasive insect called the Balsam Woolly Adelgid that kills the Fraser Fir trees that grow in the Smoky Mountains.   2. I saw a mom & 2 or 3 cubs in a cherry tree a couple weeks ago in Cades Cove. May have been these same bears? Very cool video!
